The Face Behind EquiVP
EquiVP is a mobile equine Veterinary Physiotherapy service based in Plymouth offering a range of innovative therapeutic approaches to provide science-based holistic care for equine patients throughout Devon and Cornwall.
In addition to Veterinary Physiotherapy services, to complete the holistic approach to the care of the equine athlete, exercise & training sessions are also offered ranging from physiotherapeutic groundwork to conditioning programmes to schooling.
The face behind EquiVP is Lucy Finan; a level 6 qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist, Certified MagnaWave Practitioner and member of the Institute of Registered Veterinary & Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP).
Having been enraptured by horses from a young age, the field of Veterinary Physiotherapy, specifically the subject of training and rehabilitation, has long been Lucy’s dream career as it combines working with horses with a field of veterinary work, therefore enhancing equine welfare by positively influencing musculoskeletal health, soundness and performance.
